BTW, the one saving grace for Prince of Thieves was going to be the "surprise" casting of Good King Richard. They even screwed that up by leaking it out prior to release, so everyone knew going in.

Agreed. Except the in theater part. Didn’t catch those in theater. Too young.

And I also don’t give a shite in saying it’s one of my top swashbuckler type of movies ever. Just so much damn fun between Costner, Rickman, Slater, the guy playing Little Jon, the Fat Friar etc.

It’s a movie I can easily watch over and over again.

I've never heard any native Englishman speak with an American accent.

Because English accents of the time of alleged Robin Hood ( circa 1100's ) preexisted the colonies by hundreds of years.
