This feels like a trick question.

For no real reason I think I'd lean towards 1.

When my wife and I go see a Dinesh D'Souza documentary we always buy four tickets just to support his cause.

A guy I know wrote a movie that was purchased by Sony and Steven Spielberg is gonna be a part of it/ not sure if director or producer). I'm definitely buying a ticket no matter what.

I bought a handful of tickets to movies at local theaters (not national chains) that I wasn’t going to see during the reopening phase after covid. Maybe 10 or 12 over a year-long stretch. It wasn’t the theater’s fault our government was bought and paid for. It really is a shame what the Covid hysteria did to a once great industry… ticket sales are still only around 80% of pre-covid levels. Support local theaters when you can

I did something like this with my local gym. My wife and I were still working and my gym sent me an email to suspend my payment because they were closed and I told them to keep charging me.
