Father in Law passed from ALS, He was 6'5, 295 when I met him, I'd be willing to bet he was 175 when he passed away.. He was diagnosed and gone within 18 months.

Gleason is my only reference point to ALS

A friend died of ALS recently two years after getting diagnosed. Gleason is on a feeding tube and has machines breathing for him which is why he’s still alive. My friend didn’t want any of that which expedited things at the end.

An absolutely horrible disease that doesn’t get the attention it deserves.

RIP. ALS is the devil.

Many of you probably are aware of guitar prodigy and god - Jason Becker - who was stricken at 21 in 1990 and to this day makes music with only a breathing tube.
