the part that really got me was when the scientist in the basement was searching for the thing after tom cruise told him it was near the damn, He died a few times or so after that and the guy had found it or something like that. The way it seemed is that the scientist had been working on it the whole time and not just that 1 day.

LOL, it's like some people just can't handle other people disagreeing with them. You may like when a movie leaves a lot of open ended plot points and inconsistent enemy motivations and tactics. That's cool. For me simple questions were not answered and I have a problem with that. I thought the movie looked awesome, sounded awesome, and was designed well. I thought it was technically really cool. The designs of the creatures and the exo suits were sweet, but I think the story is lazy. That's just my opinion.
