My fat arse liked it . I liked seeing ottoman empire, felt like 300. A gooder director could make a creepier horror movie showing how Brutal Vlad and ottomans were

I just wanted sh we could get an actual Vlad Tepes movie that has no vampire aspect to it.

I'm pretty sure that there was TV movie a few years back that was mostly a historical drama about his life. The final scene did tie him to the vampire legend though, as he was cursed by the church after he died to deny his soul's entry into Heaven.

Netflix's Dracula series started out with promise, but went off the rails by making Van Helsing a nun, vampirism an STD, and Dracula's fear of the sun and holy objects just a psychosis that affected him simply because he believed in them.

I've heard some negative impressions of this movie, but it's actually one of my favorite "dracula" movies

I ordered the Blu-ray after seeing this thread and got around to watching it last night. Thoroughly enjoyed it would be an understatement. I do wish it was focused on him earning the impaler title vs being the retired impaler and resurrecting it. At any rate, it's going to be a yearly watch now, i think

As I recall, it was a TNT movie or series. Wasn’t good.
