How is this dude's manipulation, direction and indirect participation in sexual assault/rape any less criminal?
It's not. Their position was that he wasn't the guy who did it. Which is so laughable but thanks to a scumbag lawyer and dumbass jury the guy who ruined a lot of lives gets to continue living his with no repercussions.

Based on what was shown, pretty sure that dude was guilty.
Not to mention this all stopped after he was arrested. No more incidents since 2004

As soon as the cop said he asked to interview the guard and attempt to get a confession I was yelling, "No, you idiot. Watch his arse and build a case." In the last episode, the cop questioned whether he made a mistake there. He did.
Only dimwits confess. Someone like this guard, especially if sharp enough to pull off all those calls, will invoke the 5th rather than waive it like the average gangbanger or teenager.
But, in defense of the cops, they were not from the suspect's state. They would have had to convince the local cops to conduct the investigation, and we saw that many law enforcement agencies blew off the complaints as just a prank call. But they should have at least tried to enlist the aid of the local police before alerting the suspect by interviewing him and dooming any possibility of catching him in the act. In further slight defense of the cops, they would have to hope that no one in prison administration or the local police force tipped off the suspect that some out-of-state cops were asking about him.
I'd like to see a follow up about how the girl who won $6M is doing. How much money did she get after fees, and how has it lasted? Did she blow it all, or has she been a prudent administrator?
