Only way I could see this working is with stand alone films and a series getting getting a new movie every few years.

It's such a big product that I'm not bothered at all by this. Might end up being good or we might meet Jar Jar's extended family.

I absolutely love Star wars but people are so defensive about it. It's easier to criticize someone's religion than the original star wars.

Disney is going to do great with these movies.
People had doubts about Disney putting out Marvel movies and they've done an excellent job with those.
