No Song of the South, no care.
Like anyone on this board was going to give Disney $1,500 if they included Song of the South. This set is for the fanatics that visit Disney multiple times a year and have a different animated movie theme for each of the rooms in their home.

The "multiple times a year" thing fit my family prior to the complete wokeness and still fits my DVC in-laws to a T, and I can tell you this set does not appeal to people like this in any way.

Those types of people already own all of the Disney movies they want to own. Including "Song of the South."

They're missing something:

Song Of The South (1946)

We know that ain't coming out of the vault, but in fairness this collection is for animated movies and doesn't include live action films or mixed content (like Mary Poppins).

99. Strange World (2022)
100. Elemental (2023)

Wow. Other than Encanto, this has been a horrible run.

Luca is pretty awesome actually. And Lightyear was better than I expected (despite the backlash for the gay stuff).

Oddly enough, those are the only two movies on that list that I have seen.

This is actually a pretty cool release. I won't get it as I have thousands of physical copies of movies already anyway. But it's a cool collection nonetheless (despite the price tag, which while not a horrible price per movie, dropping $1500 at one time for movies seems a little ridiculous).

I also wonder if these movies are edited or will be littered with "warnings" for offensiveness (like they are on D+).

ETA: I do own Song of the South on DVD. No big deal.

who the hell would pay $1500 for DVD's today?
This isn't something that is going to be worth money later on. Seems like an incredible waste of money in todays digital age.

I already have 70 of these films on Plex, for free.
