I do find it hard to believe he wasn’t disappointed in how his character was written. Tyrion became an idiot.
But I do think that these actors and others associated take the criticism personally because they worked on the show for so long. I think many of them don’t understand that the criticism is directed mainly at the writers and not the actors or other members of the crew.
That being said Dinklage is an idiot.

That’s fine, but the constant interjection of race into every fricking thing for no good reason is not healthy for anyone.
