No, but I thought they might show him sliced up and then quickly cut-away to a shot of him on the ground - whole again - but probably fatter and slightly older...with maybe a beard and bad accent...and his son would run over...and they'd hug...with dialogue dubbed over from "Blind Date."

Yeah it was HORRIBLE, and I love the Die hard movies. Just a bunch of action scenes with a little plot in between them

Agee with everyone in this thread.
Just a horrible horrible movie.
I thought it was more of a comedy than a die hard movie.
**Spoilers**
The best part of the movie is near the end when the chopper plows into the building and Mclane and his son jump out the window right before it hits, and Mclane shoots the pilot the bird on his way down.
Just hilariously bad.
And the son and him had no chemistry, which I don't necessarily blame on the son(actor) It was a terrible script and story. It would have been better if the director just let Willis ad-lib the whole movie.
I mean I rather watch another installment of Willis and Justin long running around together than what I watched. I will not watch this again. Even on HBO.
Just a horrible horrible movie.

I alluded to this earlier, but when he is hanging on to the chopper as it's spinning out of control and he's flung through the air through a huge plate glass window, but not only flies through the glass unharmed but also literally flies THROUGH THE STEEL BEAM connecting the panes of glass in slow motion, AND BREAKS THE BEAM in half, I just thought this movie has really hit rock bottom.
But yeah, then a few seconds later he jumps out of the same window and shoots her the bird in slow motion on the way down as the chopper crashes into the building, so I was wrong
