Worst season by far.
It's a damn shame too. Season 4 with Trinity was the best season of any show ever IMO.
That is coming from someone who lives and breathes the Breaking Bad gospel to people.

I'm sure I have no taste in good TV, but I am enjoying it. Not as much as 1 or 4, but still enjoying it. The only thing I will complain about is there is a lack of kill room Dex murders anymore. I like the planned out ones more than the random killings. Looking forward to the finale.

Interesting to see everyone coming my direction now. The writing has been in the toilet almost this entire season. Dexter's sheer level of recklessness is comical. I repeat: the writers are laughing at us.

I don't really know what to think about the Deb having fantasies bout Dex. I know they don't have a blood kin but its still creeps me out alittle.

I've loved this season. I agree though, the last two episodes have been blah. I'm ready for the finale.

I'm just glad its over. I had such high hopes going into the season. Complete train wreck. So many writing holes it isn't even funny.

If you watch the clips for the show next week they show Travis having Harrison and having a face-off with Dexter. I really hope they don't make Harrison do something that ends up killing Travis. You know the cliche' "ohh well..like father, like son"
I think he may be too young for anything like that to be put into play, but never know with the writing this season.

I mean for heck's sake, 911 calls are available to the public, and he didn't even try to disguise his voice.

I for one am assuming Dexter's video message to Travis self-destructed like in the old M.I. series. They didn't show it, but it had to, right?
And I guess neither Quinn nor Deb ever found Liddy's pictures of Dexter and Lumen Bay-Harbor-Butchering that were left in Quinn's nightstand, that Dexter told Lumen to put back lest they be missed. I figure preventing that is really why they broke up after a year, and why Quinn has turned into a miserable drunk who wakes up in his car and other places he passes out. He's never home anymore to discover them.
So you see, it really is a tightly plotted, carefully constructed show.
