Den of Thieves - SPOILER Question

So I just got around to watching this, and overall I liked it. I really love Netflix planting a flag in these action movies, and I hope they add bank robberies / heists to their annual list as I love these movies.
Question, though, how did Butler’s team know to go to the Federal Reserve after they saw they had tunneled out of the fake bank robbery? Didn’t that tunnel just pop them up in the middle of nowhere? How did they know to haul arse there and pickup the driver guy?
Also, did the driver intentionally tip them off knowing they’d pick him up, cuff him, then go after the other guys at which point he could escape and make off with the cash without having to pay Merrimen’s crew their cut? That seems like quite the leap in foresight (even for a fictional action / heist movie).

They knew Baby Ice Cube had already been to the fed from their surveillance, presumably to scope it out.

Really? I must've missed the scene where they found that out.

They had a tail on him. It was when he delivered Chinese food the first time. They knew something was up.

The exit from the federal reserve doesn’t really make sense in a couple ways
For 1.) the entire drama of the security guard not letting him in was honestly just a waste of space in the movie. It had nothing to do with the plot and didn’t lead anywhere. Just some fat you could’ve trimmed.
2.) if the food lady is in on the job, why would she be running to the front desk to tell them to stop the food delivery guy for giving her bad food? Maybe I missed something but again it appeared they just felt like they needed some more drama on that side
It’s a fun movie, and it’s not really supposed to hold up to scrutiny, but that bugs me when I watch it

Only one of the food ladies was in on it. She told the complainer "my food is good, you're just too picky." and they needed to establish that someone was in on the job at the Federal reserve to explain how ice cube jr knew all the details inside the building.

Ahh I guess I got them mixed up
That does lead to the question of how or why the girl who was in on it seem to have no issue chowing down on atleast day old Chinese food
Still think it’s a better movie without that scene or without any of the Gerald Butler ex wife scenes. Lot of fat to cut on an over 2 hour movie

They were tailing Donnie the first time he delivered Chinese food and when they saw the inside of the bank, they took off to go find him, knowing he would be doing the same thing.
Donnie and his guys had this planned out from day one. Everything he did throughout the film was part of his plan to walk away with all the money without ever being noticed.
