How are you qualified to make such a statement?

And you know this how? You really gonna double down on this ridiculous stance huh? The marketing campaign worked. You have no idea which portions worked more than others.

Yeah the actual trailer was extremely effective. I'm talking about stuff like this:

Question still remains.

How are you qualified to make such a statement?

Is anyone else annoyed with all the deadpool hype / ads? The concept of the movie sounds interesting, and I was thinking about seeing it, but all of the ads have been super lame.

Go see that shite. Funniest movie I've seen in a while.

Says the Deadpool fanboy with a Deadpool avatar.

The actual trailers that they showed for the film and played 8 million times a day, all day were effective but the fake Valentine's movie stuff did not draw anyone in to see Deadpool.

For starters, I've never read a comic book in my life. I had heard of the story but never once read a comic. I wanted to see the movie because the trailers were awesome. This movie shattered records for opening weekend for comic book movies and R-rated movies, so saying that the marketing was a failure is idiotic.

Fanboys, fanboys everywhere. This is why this board sucks most of the time. You can't say anything remtely bad about super hero movies even when you're being complementary as well.

I already stated I had never heard of Deadpool prior to the marketing of this movie.

I asked you to defend a statement and you resort to "you're just a fanboy" BS.

How are you qualified to call me wrong? I work in marketing by the way.

I couldn't care less. Glad you all enjoyed it, don't be so sensitive about it.

You can have whatever opinion you want about the movie itself but to say that the marketing for the movie was a failure is just factually incorrect

You made the statement. Defend it. You can't shift the burden when you make such an outlandish statement.

You can't. You know it. We all know it. Just come out and say it.

I said the fake billboards were uneffective to those who were unfamiliar with the film but thanks for putting words in my mouth and claiming that I said all of its marketing campaign was a failure which I clearly stated the opposite more than once.

Have a nice day!

I see you did double down. Going the fanboy insult route too. And you drop an "I work in marketing" line. My god man. I haven't even seen the movie or read a Deadpool comic, but your stance on the marketing of this film is moronic.

We're past that. I understand that you were specifically referring to the Valentine's Day marketing.

Now we're onto this statement.

Well this is the same guy that thinks Sandy Hook is a hoax so it shouldn't be too surprising

You have no idea what was effective for someone and what was not effective. No one knows that. Stop.

Not a fan boy checking in, Deadpool shouldn't lend his silky, smooth balls to SNL.

SNL needs Deadpool more than Deadpool needs SNL.

You guys care so much about Deadpool it's pathetic.

Dear diary,

Today someone insulted Deadpool's marketing campaign and even though I don't work in marketing I wouldn't stand for it. How dare someone have a different opinion than me and think that's okay.

Dear diary,

Someone asked me to defend an outlandish and incorrect statement today and because I couldn't, I got upset and started acting like a child.

ETA: It's quite a simple request. Defend your statement that the Valentine's Day marketing drew no one in to see Deadpool.

Where are your facts and qualifications to refute my opinion as you have presented nothing factual to refute.

You know what though, you're just a dick so go frick yourself, have a shitty day, and go see Deadpool again so you can jerk off to it some more. Cause i have actual shite to do today.
