Earlier today I was looking to watch something on my cable. A documentary called 'Midnight Movies: From the Margin to the Mainstream' was on one of my Encore channels. I set a reminder to watch it, but ended up gone while it was on. Wish I had watched it now.

Gulf War I coverage
The first night of the CNN coverage of the 1st Gulf War, I went to a bar at European Crossroads in Dallas to watch some friends that played in a band.The lady I took, and I, sat at the bar with our backs to them, watching CNN on a 19" TV while they rocked out. It was a pretty surreal night that flew by.
