I enjoy them both, but I don't think either of them is a great actor. They both basically play themselves. Whether typecast or not neither has to stretch much. As long as they remember their lines and don't look into the camera they can keep cashing checks forever.
BTW Nobody ever mentions Pesci as Rodney Dangerfield's buddy in "Easy Money".

devito for me. I didn't really think about this until a month ago but when I read his imdb bio and not only have I really liked the stuff he's acted in but the stuff he's directed and produced have been great too and I didn't even realize it was him doing it.
