Seems like they scrapped the familial connection to Clubber and made it a similar character with a connection to Adonis. Way better than what would have been a repeat of Creed 2.

First 2 movies did a really good job of merging the Rocky franchise soundtracks with some more hip-hop stuff.

Nah, I don’t see this happening.
First two have been great, yeah the Dragos were the best part of 2 but the fight scenes were great.
I think this particular story looks like one they can tell without Rock really being involved, at least from the preview. This is him confronting his past, not really something Rocky needs to be involved in imo.
Hopefully it’s just this chapter to let him stand on his own, then we’ll get Rocky’s farewell in the next installment.

Oh dayum, that's cold! Micheal B. Jordan just took the Rocky Franchise away from Stallone. Just like Rock tried to take Fast and Furious franchise from Vin Disel.
