This movie is good. I really liked Winnie the Pooh as a kid. They nailed this movie so well. I'd argue this is not a movie for kids. The lesson: just because you've grown up doesnt mean you cant still act like a kid sometimes. Keep your focus on what's important in life. His transformation throughout the movie is very well done. McGregor does it perfectly. I teared up at two different moments and let out a few audible laughs in between (on an airplane). Spectacular film. 10/10, would watch again.
I also loved the score, how they used the old music. Many of the phrases used where throwbacks to the old stories.

Watched it with the family last week - very enjoyable movie. Pooh was spouting wisdom like a chubby little fuzzy Confucius.

He’s good. He’s not quite Gary Oldman good but he’s pretty darn good.
He sneaks up on a scene or character and next thing you know it’s very memorable.
A couple more added to the list above are Moulin Rouge and Men Who Stare at Goats.
I really liked him in Big Fish as well.
Trainspotting was just disturbing.

He’s a charismatic SOB, I’ll give most anything a chance that he’s in
