Child's Play (Chucky).. Should They Make Another? Remake?

I have an odd fascination with this franchise.My parents took me to see the original when I was 8 ! Lol yes 8! It doesn't take a rocket scientist to reliaze the first one was the best. I feel like the franchise died after the third one. That being said...if they had the right budget and right casting..do you think they could actually pull off an actual remake?

Worst horror franchise there is. The original one is ok and fit somewhat in its time and place, but they've all been hot garbage after that.

I feel that Leprechaun at least grabbed on to the “horror comedy” genre, at least with the Vegas one and Hood one.
It knew what it was and played up that angle.
Child’s Play never really figured it out.

The one with the girl , Chucky's Bride was awesome. Chucky did some macgyver type shite to kill people. A dude came out and then was splattered by a car. The sex scene was glorious.

It wasn't too terrible, as far as remakes go, but completely taking out the supernatural/possession element turned Chucky into nothing more than a tiny terminator.
