The Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee episode with the two of them is incredible.

My first thought was about how hard this must be for Mel Brooks. He's 94. He lost the love of his life 15 years ago (married 41 years). He just lost his best friend. Most of the stars of his films have died of cancer. He's outlived everyone in life but his children and, given the recent environment for comedy, outlived not only his own career but his own legacy.

So then the whole point of your thread is not announce and remember an entertainer, but to make it about his politics.

I acknowledged that "we lost a funny man", but it certainly was not my intention to give him a fricking eulogy.

It WAS your intention to rejoice in someone's death because you didn't like their politics.

It was honestly my first thought too.

You know how old Couples have a habit of only outliving each other by a few months or years? I am Worried about Mel.

He lost his wife but he still had Carl.

You waited for a 98 year old guy to die before calling him out. Quit pretending that this makes you an internet bad-arse.

I DO take a little devilish rejoicing in Reiner just coming short of his one remaining personal life goal.

Funny, funny man though. I dare say underrated as a comedian.

I will always remember him as Alan Brady on the "Dick Van Dyke Show" from the 60's.

The episode where Laura spills the beans about him being bald on a TV game show she was a contestant is hilarious.

She goes to his office to try to explain how sorry she was and Brady (Reiner) had all his toupes on those Styrofoam heads on his desk, talking to them like they were real. Very funny episode.

I'll alert the retirement homes and hospices that you're looking for a 98 year old to put the hurt on.

Gotta say... that's pathetic. And if it's indicative of your supposed internet badassedness... well... the rest of us have nothing to fear.

This thread didn't go as well for you as you thought it would did it? Think you'd just come in here and we'd all have an anti-Biden laugh with you but failed to realize not all of us spend every waking minute of our lives thinking about Biden or Trump or how everything has to be connected to it?

I have never, ever started a thread or poked my nose into one with any preconceived notions or expectations, but I must say that this time did come with a serendipitous bonus of some queef stain taking the time right before giving his little brother a happy ending because he lost a bet on who has the bigger dick, for his opinion as anyone gave a shite from a anus whose contribution to this board includes his opinions of the "star studded cast" of Angels in the Outfield.

So, go ahead and finish off your little brother, and do what you can to embrace the fact that you absolutely suck at this.
