I've always wanted to watch this show but never have because I didn't feel like renting it and watching it from the beginning.

Season 5 is on Hulu along with an assortment of episodes, can i just jump into watching it without missing lots of inside jokes and plot stuff? Or should I start from Season 1?

TIA

I jumped into it 2 seasons ago. The episodes kinda hop around based on the theme from week to week.

Not an ongoing thing rly, helps if you know the characters and stuff, but other than that you should be able to get into it no problems

Yes. There is no real backstory or need to know anything from past episodes.

yeah you can jump in...here's a quick study guide to catch you up

charlie is in love with the waitress but she hates him; the rest of the gang including frank has fricked her; charlie is also illiterate

dee is annoying and wants to be an actress, she is often ignored all together by the gang

dennis is the character you think would be sensible but is just as dumb as the rest

mac and dennis are best friends

dennis and dee are brother and sister

frank is dennis and dee's step-dad I guess? He was originally their father but it turns out they were not his kids...

charlie likes to wear the greenman suit at inappropriate times

meh I think thats all you need

Start at season 1 or just start in the middle of season 4. Really doesn't matter because after 2 seasons worth of episodes most of them are the same exact story.

Dennis/Mac, Dennis/Charlie, Charlie/Mac, Charlie/Frank, or Charlie/Mac/Frank come up with an insane idea that doesn't work out. Dee comes up with a parallel idea because she's never included and they always makes fun of her, lol.

Search for the thread with everyone's favorite AS episode and watch those, then you'll be pretty caught up on all 5 seasons.

plot wise you will be fine.

character wise - you may not think shite is as funny as other people do and stuff like that. knowing the characters makes this show awesome.
