Will the media end up investigating Walt next season in a "build-them-up and tear-them-down" kind of way?

After building him up as this great guy who is beating cancer, will they find out he's a meth dealer when they look for dirt on him?

I just watched it last night and loved it. Reading the interview makes me like the whole show even more.

The whole show is about a guy who makes bad choices for seemingly good reasons. And when those good reasons go away he continues to break bad and there are consequences.

The actions Walt set into place way back in the beginning have caused the deaths of hundreds of people now (plane, Combo, drug girl, not to mention anything happening to the users of his product).

Walt is a completely different man than the guy we saw at the beginning. I thought I was going to watch a show about a guy doing things he despised for his family. It's turned into a show about a guy who likes doing those things and the consequences he will have to suffer for them.

by having Jessie and his friends dealing with the users, Walt never even saw what he was doing to them. I wonder if he will be able to continue to deal after seeing Jane die and after rescuing Jessie from the crack house.

Will next season just be about Walt trying to get out of the business while dealing with the repercussions from this season?

maybe, maybe not, it seems to me cooking meth has become some kind of therapeutic release for him now when things go bad, when him and Jesse got out of bad shite before like being almost killed, it was well let's head back to Dr. Frankenstein's laboratory and create some more meth.

I think he starts really making some serious meth now that him and Skyler have it the rocks and supplying it to his new distributors getting himself farther into the rabbit's hole.

Well he has to start over from scratch if he is going to continue since he is out of the blue stuff.

He can't make serious meth without stealing a new tank of that stuff.

I understand it is all tied together, but I still found the body bag tease a bit of a slap. They played it up all season and then it's nobody we knew.

I said a long time ago that he would be addicted to the action and would not be able to quit.

Now that he has a lot of time left and everything paid for, it will be interesting to see what happens.

Maybe Gus forces him to keep cooking. Gus might like having Walt as his cook.

Just not sure how he ever gets Skyler back. Not sure the average woman would say thanks for thinking of us enough to meth it up.

Saul will probably steal his money next season or when he moves it out of the house something will happen and he will be back to square one.

and once again and.... so you think this is a one time deal between him and Gus, I don't think it is.

Exactly. What happens when Gus calls wanting more "product?"

I'm sure Gus can get this for him.

I actually liked it.

I think he wants out. The scene of him sitting by the pool at the end reminded me of Michael Corleone in the "Godfather II." I think Walt realizes he's seriously f'd up. I believe he loves his wife and children more than being the best meth cook in New Mexico. I wonder how he's going to react when he realizes he's indirectly responsible for the plane colliding?

Maybe he gets some separation 'tang from Carmen, the hot assistant principal.

Perhaps

That's a tough one.

Skyler appears to me to be such a woman, but there's not telling with this show. Divorce would be too obvious. It would be justified, but not obvious.

I wonder if he or "The Cleaner" have already stolen Jesse's money.

...then his cancer will return w/a vengance, but won't have the support of his family to help him along. How ironic would THIS be!?

I hope his conscience doesn't allow him to draw Jesse back into the business after he gets out of rehab. I'm really pulling for Jesse.

I hope not, but I don't think Gus is simply going to let him quit and walk away. Walt knows too much.

exactly my point, when people get left all alone like that they usually get farther into trouble, like a locomotive out of control, they are not thinkin clearly and just see or try to justify cooking more meth as the reason that maybe they can get their family back, he probably thinks making more money will somehow win her over. totally blind, instead of just tellin the truth, but who knows maybe he will fess up next season.

Don't worry about where I got this money, but look how much I have!

Did you get the feeling during the meeting with the doctors that Skyler was going to leave Walt? I figured it out when she asked the doctors if Walt could live independently. I thought to myselt that ol' Walt was fixin' to get kicked to the curb.

it was nice of her to take care of him for that 6 weeks without ever mentioning the phone thing, i guess she felt she owed him that at least

i was screaming at the tv to just tell her the truth in the driveway

Yes it was.

I knew the cellphone lie was going to come back to haunt him. I liked the way Skyler laid out her case against Walt while she was packing. She had him boxed into a corner to which there was absolutely NO escaping. All I could say was "Girl, you're good!" She set the hook when she told him about calling his mother. It was all over for Mr. White but the fileting and frying.
