I was just thinking that, definitely a different style for the show.

(Spoiler alert if you missed last night's show)

I think the music video set up things to show how far Heisenberg's success has spread. I just started watching the show 3 weeks ago and caught up on almost every episode. I can't get over how phenomenal the writing is. Bryan Cranston is amazing, but some of the other actors are just ok. I'm not a fan of Walt's brother in law and feel the role of Jessie could have been cast better.

But that's nitpicking. This has rapidly become my favorite tv show. For anyone who hasn't watched it and wants to get caught up quickly, go watch the "mini-sodes" on you tube. The first one is only 7 minutes and if you don't like it, you probably won't like the show.

for their roles though they are perfect. Very realistic, but that is just my opinion

Do you think that Skyler is going to fool around with her boss? I'm not sure that they didn't have a fling when she worked there before.

I agree with future. Jessie's dumb arse and all of his acquaintances are what you have to deal with in the streets. Hood rats will keep you frustrated and try your patience.

It looks like Jessie is "developing" a love interest. Thank God they are giving us something good to look at. It will take four or five times of seeing her to make up for having to see the methhead murderering skank in two episodes.
Let's just hope Jessie doesn't turn her on to it and get her all strung out and skanky.

The writers seem to encourage the audience to root for Walt and Jesse. Personally I find myself doing just that. What do ya'll think?

And how awesome was the desert scene last night?

The head on the turtle was awesome, but then having it explode was amazing, i didn't see that coming.

I think Ted may have, too. I think more went on at the Christmas Party than Skyler's letting on.

One thing I find funny about Jesse is that he's always wearing those huge arse jackets.

Don't they live in New Mexico? shite has got to be hot, not to mention they make him look even more like a douche.

I thought it was a prank the way the other agents were laughing at Hank, then BOOM!!! My question, though, is where do you hide explosives on a freakin' tortoise?

under the head or under the shell. Obviously the detonator was under the head on top of the shell.

One thing I found interesting about the song at the beginning is it kept saying "Heisenberg's dead he just doesn't know it yet" or somethign to that effect. And then it would show someone laying on the desert ground (as if they were dead) wearing that black brimmed hat and sun glasses, just like Heisenberg.

Basically it was saying the Cartel is looking for whoever "Heisenberg" is. And that they are out to get him to kill him. So he's dead but he doesn't even know it.
They also made mention, at least i thought i hear, that the Cartel was looking for "Heisenberg" to do business with.

But, was that foreshadowing to what is actually going to happen? Or just telling us what could happen?
