He has a brother in Germany that is a biochemist. He will be making himself known this season.

if i'm not mistaken, in the episode where walt goes to gus's house to eat, gus mentions something about having children. I could be wrong since I haven't watched it in a couple of weeks, though.

And see the post about Gus owning the dry cleaners the lab is under, assuming he has no family (does he?) the state would assume Gustavo's assets, right? Including the cleaners. Maybe all of it has already went down, Walt buys the cleaners at auction?
What is Gus left everything to his aformentioned brother, with instructions on how to operate it?

I'm not entirely convinced that was Gus' house. Notice there was not a single picture in the place, and his so called family was nowhere to be found.

Los Pollos Hermanos Inc. is a registered trademark of Madrigal Electromotive GmbH

Yep, with Gus' means could have been any number of homes he owns. Then again why worry about Walt entering an empty house? One thing for sure, Gus is playing this a lot smarter than Walt and Jesse at this point.

It was Gus all the way, I don't see how people didn't recognize his cryptic voice!
quote:
Vince Gilligan confirmed in an interview that the voice on the phone was that of Tyrus, the guy who replaced Victor.

I think the voice on the phone was mike or the new guy. Probably mike though.
1 - Walt looked around the street to see where he was. If it was Gus, he would have been inside his house.
2 - Gus is so crazy pissed at Walt..do you really think he would give him a semi courtesy call like that to say go home?
3 - Mike did say the tailing comment which could be because he followed him to bar, but maybe because Walt parked so close to Gus' house with his lights off and was obvious in his intentions.
I called this! Did anybody read my post?? Or just ignore it... My arguement was full proof. Damnt to hell people! ha..come on

Tyrus, the new guy hardly knows Walt, it wouldn't be him sayin "go home Walter" so calmly as that voice did. So I don't know about the Gilligan info, I know he is the man, but I don't see how that would be the new guy talkin to Walter like that! That was Gus all the way, you saw how calmly he switched modes after just slicin and dicin Victor, washing off and sayin " ok, back to work"

Did any of y'all get the impression that Marie was hitting on Hank's therapist? Or do y'all think she just likes him because he was actually effective with Hank?

Seriously? It pretty transparent that Hank is going through a hell of a time and taking it out on Marie. When the guy is around Hank actually seems happy and more up beat. That was a desperate attempt to get him to stay full time and have Hank be more possitive. As soon he left Hank was a douche to her again saying "get out".

It did come off that way, but I think it's just the way she read the line.
There's a really blurry line between a woman asking you to stick around for a good reason or for her own personal reasons. So many guys get it confused.

I think Bourque's assessment is correct. I also think Hank may know something is afoul regarding the source of funds used to pay for his treatment.

Yea, this could be. He could be having a really hard time feeling useless for the first time. Being a alpha male, he probably doesn't know how to handle it. In Entertainment Weekly's review of Breaking Bad (Spider-man cover), they said that Hank and Marie's relationship would be tested heavily this season.
EW: "The marriage of Hank and Marie is fraying, though...Hank barks at and belittles his wife to a cruel extent, and Marie, so often a meek soul, reacts in a way that's both startling and sensible (soul saving, even), given her circumstances."
Makes me wonder if maybe it's Marie's time to break bad or something ha. What if the writers are not only transforming Walt, but all the characters as well? Walt and Skyler are evolving and maybe more will follow. A way way earlier post like a season ago suggested a thought that Walt Jr. may develop a meth problem down the line and break bad in a sense too. Just thinking out loud..i don't know.

Perhaps she'll graduate from shoplifting to knocking off liquor stores.

Junior has been awful quiet thus far. He's only been in a very few scenes. Perhaps something with him will be the next shoe to drop.
I'm starting to wonder if Breaking Bad is going to take the course of the Godfather series with Walt trying to become legitimate in Season 5.

Ha yea i forget about that sometimes. Also man, have you noticed Marie is always wearing purple? I heard her say in an interview once that purple was like her characters color through out the series. Once I heard that I can't stop noticing it ha.

Yea he has been quiet so far. I'm sure they'll for sure do something with him sometime to make Walt regret this road he has gone down even more.
They said it's probably going to be 6 seasons right? I hope they give him a whole season as fulling embodying Heisenberg. I get pumped just thinking about how the hell their going to end this haha.
I envision a whole 6th season spent with Hank finally going rogue tracking Heisenberg (possibly taking his obession to next level and maybe losing his marriage in the process) and finding Walt.
