There seems to be a loyalty from the NN's to Walt that I'm not sure was explained earlier. I know Todd was wowed by Walt and the train caper but they have been overly fair/helpful to Walt.

Money talks. They knew Walt was the key to the meth business. That's why once they found out about the $80 mil, Jack had no qualms about killing Walt.

Ozymandias is the Greek name for Ramesses II, who released Moses and the Jews from bondage only to pursue them into the desert to annihilate them. When all seemed lost, and the Jews were pinned against the Red Sea, Moses parted the sea, escaped, and Ramesses's army was destroyed by the cascading water once the Jews had passed. Could Walt be Moses, and the NNs, et al, be Ramesses's army?

I realize that Jack didn't kill Walt because of Todd, but Todd's a sociopath and would get over it. Also, Todd's a boy and Jack seems to defer too much for him.

It seems that the Todd/Jack's gang relationship with Walt went from 0-60 in a split second, money paid or not.

It appears that there is an honor among those thieves rthat isn't typically written into a coarsened modern drama.

Well that's because Todd is the one who can cook, never piss off your chef.

Todd's not really a boy. He's in his twenties and is clearly the smartest of the Neo-Nazis. His sociopathy allows him to be absolutely logical. There is some other inner machination going on to explain why Walt was not killed. Perhaps Lydia forbade it. Perhaps Jack simply no longer saw Walt as a threat.

In any case, Jack's respect for and reliance upon Todd is demonstrated throughout this season. Todd, while not the leader, is clearly the brains behind the operation.

To me, the Nazis aren't just conduits of Walt. At least not as far as Todd is concerned. Todd is clearly a reflection or a projection of part of Walt's personality--the part that is wholly logical, wholly without emotion; the part that is the one who knocks. On the other hand, Jesse has become the projection of the other half of Walt's dual personality--the hyper-emotional, morally driven character who sees the errors of his ways and wants to atone.

I think it is no coincidence that "the phone call" and the cage scene are juxtaposed, with the cage scene showing the hyper-emotional side of Walt (i.e. Jesse) battered to hell and gone and being manipulated by his hyper-logical side (i.e. Todd).

insurance.

they weren't thinking at the time they'd let jesse live or that he would cook for them (although it seems todd picked up on that) so they left walt alone because they still have the majority of the methlamine from the train heist to use..hence lots and lots of money still to be made and they may need walt to help.

after all, they know where his family lives so they can control him (or so they think).

I thought the same thing at first, but I wondered why they kept him alive after finding Jesse. O well. Perhaps they worried that they couldn't manipulate Jesse or that he couldn't cook well enough without Walt.

Nope. Still on team Walt. He will go out swinging and I can't wait to see how.

The "I watched Jane die" thing was super fricked up though. I cringed so hard when he said that.

Walt and Todd cooked all of that in the final ep of season 5.1

I thought the general consensus was that Todd wanted Jessie alive so he could cook the perfect blue for his love Lydia. Which is why Todd interrupted Jessie's execution with his "let's see what he knows" excuse. I don't think Uncle Jack and the gang have much to do with Todd's little side project.

I almost hopped off when he took the baby. Then I strapped back in after the call to Skyler. I think that the emotion we saw from Walt when Hank died and when he called Skyler is the last time we see "Walt". For all intent and purposes this was his finale. From here on out it's pure Heisenberg

They took it from Declan during their ambush. Mike and Jesse sold their shares to Declan

The opposite. I'm back on since Hank is dead and there is no one else to pull for. Team Lydia I guess.
