Seemed like they were married later (30's or 40's) and maybe in recent years to the beginning of the show.
Look up the breaking bad minisode - wedding Day.. They did several minisodes before season 2, this one being hank and Marie's wedding. Hank is dressed like Boss Hogg.

One thing I never noticed until now was how much interaction Walt and Gomie had in early seasons. It was almost like they were friends. Then to get to Ozymandias and Walt not seem to care when he was killed.

I was thinking it would be cool since we know Breaking Bad/TWD are in the same universe and it shows that white supremacists do distribute Blue Sky that when they get to the Negan arc they interpret Negan as being Uncle Jack. And instead of Glenn meeting Lucille have Daryl do it as pay back something Merle did to Jack's gang.
