Things don't look good for Saul either since he lied to Mike about the address.

Does anyone remember if he wrote the address down for Mike, or was it already written down? I seem to remember that he just pulled the note pad out and left it on his desk, but I don't remember him writing it down. So... in my mind... if it was already written down, and Saul was resisting but then relented in the way that he did... he's got a little credibility to being duped himself.

It was already written on the notepad. I would think Walt would be smart enough to know that he couldn't tell Saul he truth about Jessie's location. Saul likely really didn't know.

Does anybody else think he may be "deep undercover?"
If he is, what is he waiting for? He has all the dirt he could possibly need to bring down Gus and Walt.

That's a good question and you're right. My guess is artistic license for television.

I really don't think Victor is deep cover, but what if Gale was???

then DEA will be all over their asses, I think this poor guy was just a victim of circumstances. Gus will just force Walt to start cooking probably for free like some have said because of his family. Jesse being on the run, I don't know how that will work out because they will start tracking him, but Jesse is foolish a lot and may decide I got Walt in this jam so I'm gonna take the fight to them.
that strange scene with Mike sneaking up on that chemical facilty and shooting those guys has me puzzled, is it a Cartel tryin to move in on them or the Cartel knowing Gus is responsible for the Twins deaths and setting up that takedown in Mexico. The heat next season will really be turned alll the way up!

fricking epic episode.

Here's the one thing that I don't understand.
Gus knew enough people to build this high tech Meth lab that blows Walt away. He didn't just get the equipment, but has it set up perfectly.
But Walt is the only guy that can cook great Meth to his knowledge? Whoever set up the lab must have the ability to put out a very high quality product. Even if you rationalize that Walt still produces better stuff, it can't be that much better. And not to the degree that Gus would have put up with all of the Jesse crap before the last two episodes.

You're right. The show should go off the air.
Just kidding. Don't frick this up for me though, seriously. Gale set up the lab, and he was an expert chemist, but not a meth cooker at any level. I saw this "replace Walt with Gale" coming from the first time I saw Gale in the lab. At the time, I thought Gale might have been more of a hard core MF than he was letting on, but it turns out he was just a nerd, trying to make some money. Poor fricker never saw it coming.

All valid points, but I suppose we wouldn't have a show anymore then.

AMC can suck an aids dick for leading us all to believe the show was longer. At 9:45 I am thinking, "Alright there's still an hour left!".

quote:Exactly. I was thinking man what a backstabber and I remembered the conversation in the trailer when the truce was made and how Walt stayed all silent, but then as soon as he got on the phone I was thinking "GENIUS!"
Yes. And saying he would give Jesse up. I was like, "WTF?? No way he would do that after saving him from getting shot. He knew what could happen."

Does anybody remember when Tuco learned that Walt had a family and made the remark that he liked family men because they had "collateral?" I'm surprised Walt didn't remember this before he cooked up his scheme to kill Gale.

They'll lock Walt up and make him cook for free, or start chopping his toes off or something.

I see your point. Either way, Walt's dead pending some sort of divine miracle. The biblical name Jesse means "God's gift." Is Vince trying to tell us something?
