For someone who has never done an ounce of drugs his entire life, my two favorite television series ever are: The Wire, Breaking Bad.

I'm currently on The Wire, Season 2, Episode 8...

I like it, but it hasn't cracked my top 2 list of shows. "Breaking Bad" and "Six Feet Under" have a deathgrip on those two spots.

I wasn't a fan of Season 2 of The Wire, seasons 3 and 4 kick are great. Season 4 is really great. Last season...it was alright.

Six Feet Under is up in my Top 5. Best series finale.

Good to know Seasons 3 and 4 get better as my wife is starting to lose interest.

Not just in having sex with me, but also in The Wire.

I swear, I could watch that guy make a sandwich for an hour and be entertained.

Do you remember what he did to Crazy 8 when he made him a sandwich?

Season 3 and 4 are incredible. Season 2 was my least favorite but it is instrumental in setting up the rest of the show. Season 1 took a little while to pick up, but yeah Season 3 and 4 are well worth the wait.

Good point! What's up with the amount of time and care that Walt puts into making a sandwich. I bet Walter Jr's lunches are the bomb.

He also took the same care making C8's sandwich. He must have some obsessive/compulsive tendencies.

Just watched episode one again. I cannot believe Walt could be so stupid as to believe that Gus would just let him walk away scot-free from cooking meth.

Here's what I can't believe:

Gus knows Walt's brother-in-law is DEA
Walt starts talking about how he wants out, why wouldn't Gus think he was wearing a wire? What is his thought process through all this?

That dead face he gave (which was similar to the face he had when Walt first tried to convince him to give him a second chance) before switching back into Chicken Frying guy spoke VOLUMES

And one thing I don't get, why didn't he just tell Skyler that he was doing it only for the family and if it meant losing them he would stop immediately rather than the cryptic "there are many angles to this" crap.

Agree Volgavia. Kind of makes me think Skylar was just looking for a way out so she could slut it up with her Bill Lumbergh looking boss.

I suspect that plotline is dead.

He was telling Walt that they would be meeting again, but their next meeting won't be so amicable. Instead of "$3 million/3 months," it's going to be "cook meth or your family dies."

I agree, and think there's more to Skyler and her boss than we know. Volvagia may be right; that plotline may be dead. However, I think that Ted's tax fraud could be a nice subplot that would involve Skyler having legal problems of her own.

Oh, and Skyler could "slut it up" with me anytime.

Yea that could be an interesting storyline that could end up having a larger impact on the main story. Walt could end up getting 'dirt' on Skyler in a way. Not sure how'll they'll play that out or if Ted was signed on for this season.

Hope to see John de Lancie back again this season too, but not sure if he'll show up. Also read in Entertainment weekly that those billy badass mexican's are related to the cartel and are cousins. Not sure if there was confusion about that, but cleared it up for me.
