I think it’s incredible, and I think the film is amazing.

The most impressive thing about cowboy bebop is how popular and endearing it is given how little of content was produced.

26 Episodes and a film. how many shows can you get that much pop-culture mileage out of so little?

Rain (YouTube)

I’m on Episode 5 and it is a great episode, particularly the confrontation between Viscious & Spike. Also, it not only features the tune Rain but has a mesmerizing & angelic ballad called Green Bird.

My wife and I used to watch this at night when we were newlyweds. She was never into anime, but loved this series. I need to watch it again.

I liked it. Used to have all the DVDs along with Trigun and some others. My favorite anime of all time though is Akira. Damn that was such a good movie. And I got the deluxe box set of the manga for Xmas. I’m on book 3 right now, it’s different from the movie but the movie couldn’t fit everything so they did a good job with it.
