when recommending, I always tell people to skip episode 1 and go back to it later.

Never start with episode 1.

Eh.. I started with episode 1 and the concept was so strange and amusing that it kept me watching. It may not feel like other Black Mirror episodes, but I still enjoyed it (kind of like the last episode of the third season).

Even San Junipero, although apparently happy, did have dark implications, that she "abandoned" an afterlife with her deceased daughter and husband to spend it in San Junipero with someone she had just met.

Her husband was betting on human conscious living beyond the bodies life, heaven or hell or whatever you want. She didn't have the faith to take that bet.

What is interesting is that if you were to meet the data version of your partner they could be a completely different person, such your wife being a lesbian.

White Bear and the bee one were great.

And the one with Bryce Dallas Howard was so well made and quite funny and very apropos to the current times. Which reminds me, where did Alice Eve disappear to the last few years?

Dammit. My SO and I watched episode one together after I talked it up. She hated it and refuses to watch anymore.

That's why I like the order Netflix put it in and watched it like that. Season 3 first, season 1 last.

When you're ready for a rematch, that's when you watch it in order and notice all the little things that connect the universe.
