I watched the movies that make us on Netflix about Ghostbusters and I never heard a lot of that. At least they talked before Ramis died.

It's become revisionist history that Ghostbusters 2 "sucked"

No,

There’s been a pretty general consensus from crew and general audiences that Ghostbusters 2 hasn’t been good for over 25 years.

I’m entertained by it, but it isn’t very good.

Just because the original was A++ doesn't mean a B+ sequel was bad.

"Suck" is a relative term. 3-4 grade difference between A++ and B+ is how "suck" gets done. I remember GB2 in the theaters and yes, then I remember I said it sucked. Loved the soundtrack, had it. I think I recall them being reluctant to do a #2 as they had no plan at #1 and all parties involved had to be pulled back in.

I’d really like to know what happened on the set of Groundhog Dog that Murray had to quit being friends with Ramis for so long.

I don't know because the movie is one of those oddball cult classic movies that I laugh just about every time I see it and I tend to stop on it when it is on tv. Doesn't seem like a film that would lead to that. If Man who knew too little was in the middle of the Murray run, I could see him getting mad about being derailed but Groundhog day was towards the end of his 80s comedy run and wasn't panned that I remember.
