So taking a showmance to the final four/three is a mistake? Who knew.

Congrats to Nicole on winning AFP. Cliff is going to be pissed that carrying an owl around all season didn’t win him anything.

Letting a showmnce go to F2(Jackson/Holly) is no different then letting 2 alliance members go to F2(Nicole/Cliff). At the end of the day, neither have any impact to the odd man outs chances if he/she wins comps at F3. Nicole isnt going to F3 because, when it mattered most, she couldn't win a comp and that has nothing to do with a showmnce. She blew and its her own fault.

Yep. Well said!!!

Yes it is when that alliance of two had a chance to break up the showmance in final five and instead chose to broker stupid deals and believe in bullshite agreements.

Comp wise Cliff/Nicole were going up against two physical players, both on the same page, in a situation where the weakling and the old man had to win against them to survive. It was a dumb call and that's proving to be true now with Cliff in jury and Nicole finishing third.

In order for Nicole to win she was going to have to win 2/3 of the final HOHs plus the final veto if she wanted to take Cliff. That was her only chance and that was never going to happen against Jackson/Holly.

Would Tommy have turned on them had he stayed and won HOH/veto? Possibly but at least there's a bit of hope instead of certainty about who Jackson or Holly would take should it come down to it.

The game was still in her hands and she failed to take care of business when it mattered most. If she or Cliff had won veto, they would have voted out Jackson. If she had won comps this weekend she would have been in the drivers seat. Name one overall winner of BB who failed to win the final veto or at least one part off final HOH. This isnt on a showmance, but entirely on Nicole because if you cant win comps, then you cant win BB.

The twitter whining over Jackson and Holly is hilarious. Jackson isn’t likable but damn these people are pussies. Evil Dick is such a bitch.

Give me a break. Neither beats Tommy, due to his great social game, in F2. He was the biggest threat, while Jackson's social game has been horrid, so both would have had a chance versus him in F2. No matter what they had to go thru Tommy or Jackson to win and they picked the lesser of two evils.

Sure a showmance is a factor if you are playing like a pussy and your end game goal is to get to F2, but if you actually want to win the entire game, then you take out the biggest threat and take care of business by winning comps.

If one fails to get the votes necessary to win it is impossible to argue they played the best game given the particular cast. They might have gotten my vote and they may have gotten yours but those aren't the votes they are playing for. The one wildcard one can argue against this is production's help. It certainly exists and is fair game for an argument, in this case, nobody can argue production was against Jackson this season.

That is a great and refreshing take.

I’ve felt the same forever but just haven’t articulated it like that.

I think it still remains to be seen how jury will go, which means it’s unclear how good Jackson’s game has been.

I think either Cliff or Nicole would have beaten Jackson pretty easily but Holly is s different case. She’s so closely associated with him that the jury really may give Jackson the nod since there isn’t a clear “good guy” going against him.

At this point I’d think the votes go like this:

Holly: Kat, Jess, Christie, Sis

Jackson: Nick, Jack, Nicole, Cliff (I think ultimately Nic and Cliff vote on game and they actually both seemed closer to Jackson than Holly anyway. Those two were actually real relationships he formed and Holly never seemed as interested in them)

Deciding vote: Tommy

I think Tommy is actually likely to go for Jackson once it’s all said and done. Even as he was being thrown under the bus he said many times that he respected it and was impressed by the move.

My biggest concern with Jackson will be his awkwardness when talking to the jury. He tends to be very dry and unintentionally condescending imo because he doesn’t know how to talk to people.

If he rubs especially Cliff Nicole or Tommy the wrong way he could lose it there. He needs to be a little humble, show love to everyone instead of bitterness or arrogance and I think he’ll win.

His jury management isn’t over, after all.

Paul, for instance, totally shite the bed on jury management throughout the game, and made it even worse at F2. His inability to own the game he played is what lost it for him.

Will be interesting to see if Jackson can stick the landing with the jury at the last minute.

Jessica Graf, host of the jury round table, on Twitter saying who she’d vote for. I don’t disagree with her but the host of the round table portion shouldn’t be openly stating who she thinks should win/have her vote before hosting.

quote:

I think Jackson outplayed Nicole. Her first HOH win, if you rewatch the tapes, looks like Cliff threw it to her. Her second HOH, Holly was forced to throw it. She took a showmance to final 2. She DID, however, get out Christie and win a veto! Not to mention she’s a sweet and Likeable human! But Jackson survived all summer long while clearly being the biggest target week after week. He won comp after comp fair and square and escaped the block twice.. Even though I disagree with 96% of his behavior, I think Id vote for him.

Dick is a grumpy old man and a hypocrite who still has me blocked but I agree with him as well:

Agreed.

I love you Jessica, but you’ve been a very very bad girl. Time for punishment

Hopefully Jackson walks up to Evel Dick and punches him in his fat SJW mouth. That coward deserves to have his teeth knocked down his throat.

Doesn’t matter if he’s right, wrong, or indifferent. Evel Dick talks way too much shite and is a coward. He’s long overdue for a slap to the mouth.

He’s not. Not one thing that Dick said should be considered SJW. If anything, the treatment of Jackson by production is the example of SJW behavior. Using a debatable “disorder” for gain.

Yeah he’s a huge hypocrite. Did he not bully the hell out of Jen on his season?

It doesn’t make his statement about Jackson any less true or irrelevant. People let their feelings about someone get in the way of a valid point.

“I want momma” ftw

FWIW, Jackson should win if the final two is Jackson vs Holly. Jackson has been assisted by production. Holly has been assisted by Jackson.

He has a valid point. Production has long interfered too much in this show. Way back to his season.

I would’ve preferred Tommy to win but I’m not going to hate on Jackson when he does.

I think we can all agree that Tommy would’ve taken it all the way if Jackson hadn’t pulled one of the top 5 most impressive BB moves ever.

And I just don’t care about the slop shite. I probably would have if it was Paul though so I guess I’m a hypocrite.
