Apparently Jess said something to Josh last night that pissed him off, so now he's back to wanting Jess out over Elena.

Are Jody playing any kind of social game at all right now?
Have they tried to recruit anyone on their side?

Doesn't sound like from what I've read. Most of the recaps though have been focusing on all the conversations Josh has been having, mostly with Christmas, on targeting Elena.
I did see a quote from Paul where he asked someone if they noticed Cody trying to interact more with everyone, so maybe they are at least trying.

No. Jess told Elena she wasn't going to campaign against her, so I guess they're waiting until Josh nominates Mark's replacement, which is going to be Matt I think.

Yea. I wasn't watching feeds this weekend, but I have seen other people say that Josh tried to make a deal with Jessica to target Elena over Jess and Jess wasn't having any of it. Also Cody made it very clear he would be voting for whoever Josh put on the block when Mark came down.
Considering that there is absolutely no way that Elena goes home without Cody voting for her Josh really isn't left with much of a choice here. In fact the way I heard it Cody said he refused to vote with the house even if the house isn't voting out Jessica.
They are completely commited to the Cody Kamakazie plan and refuse to even pretend to play ball to possibly save Jessica. That's how done they are with this game. So you can't really blame Josh (assuming that I even have my facts straight that is)

Paul didn't volunteer for shite. He told Elana that he volunteered in order to look like a team player, but he made it very clear to Josh in private that he was NOT ok with going on the block

I still hope Jessica and Cody can pull this out even though I know they're done, but once they're out, I'm ready to see these idiots all turn on one another. This cast pisses me off and might as well hand the check to Paul. They say they don't like that Jess is in DR rn, they say it better not be something to protect her. Alex thinks DR has been playing up a "star-crossed lovers" thing to Jess in DR. -moeopoly
Well, they're right about production, but it is amazing how very aware they are that Paul is the golden boy of the season and just sit back letting it all happen. Worst game players in BB history.
And yeah, they need to emphasize that raven is going to play up the medical thing so bad and this will be their only chance to get rid of her. I think Josh might get on board with that.
