Oh me too no doubt.

I just meant that was the best hope to actually get everyone to vote Paul out if Jody can get him on the block.

It's 8 votes right, assuming there is a third on the block. Cody or Jess Jason Marlena

Jason will most likely vote for the third nom, whoever it is unless it's Kevin. He will vote out Christmas, Matt, Raven, Josh, Mark, and Elena over Paul, Alex will make sure of it. The third nom staying on the block almost assures that Paul is not voted out.

cody
jess
elena
mark
whistle-nut
kevin

would be a nice mix of numbers

leaves the rest of the house
paul
alex
raven
matt
josh
Christmas

dnno who in that mix of below would swing, but that's what it would take..also if one of the above for some reason is HoH that's a no vote for them..so yeah the below still controls the vote. Best tv scenario I like is Alex/Paul on the block come next Thursday....with back dooring paul

if Jody does win HOH, the other one may not play in the temptation challenge in the case they finished last they are on the block and go home (if Veto isnt won- a gamble) so if they dont compete in the temptation to ensure they dont go up, does anyone compete against paul at that point- hes for sure going to play knowing he is going up otherwise.

That actually might be a good scenario for Cody and Jess if Paul won the Temptation safety and they won HOH. It would cause the other to turn on themselves and force lines to be drawn. They'd likely try to get them to put Josh, Mark, and/or Elena up. If they were smart they'd put Alex and Raven up, and just sit back and watch the sparks fly.

I don't see Paul going on block if Jody wins HOH though. No one is going to play against Paul in temptation comp

If Jessica or Cody wins HOH and they nominate Paul, they need to tell everyone that anyone that doesn't compete and try to win the temptation exemption is putting themselves in harm's way of being a potential replacement nominee if Paul wins the temptation exemption. Whichever half of the Jody couple that is not HOH should also compete since either of them is equal or better than Paul as a competitor (although they should keep that to themselves until the players are called). Yes, that is a risk but I think it also sends a message that they are there to play and not coast through to the jury. When it comes to self-preservation, some of Paul's lap dogs will try to win.

There have been several mention that they do not see Kevin voting Paul out. It would actually be to Kevin's benefit to vote Paul out as soon as possible since sooner or later Paul will use the $25K and some of those "unknown" votes against Kevin when the opportunity arises. If Kevin truely has a mob background, he will realize he needs to act first and not give Paul the chance.

wondering what y'all think

Paul is practically untouchable at this point

so why not put up Matt and Alex and split the sub groups if y'all are sure paul won't go home

While I agree that Paul is untouchable. I still think it would be good for him to go up on the block. You know Paul is going to campaign and pull no punches. If you can get him to start throwing the person he is next to on the block under the bus. I think it would help to cause division as well.

Alex/Paul would be good because you know both of them will fight to stay and in the process throw each other under the bus.

This is probably the best we can hope for. The sad thing is though, Jess & Cody would probably nominate Josh who would go home. Putting up Alex and Raven might be the best move as long as Christmas, Josh, or even Matt isn't the 3rd nom (hopefully Mark and Elena are smart enough not to play in the Temptation comp).

But I still think Jason is the best candidate to put up against Paul because I seriously don't think Alex or Kevin will vote against Jason, so add those two to the one left of Cody/Jess and you have a good core votes of 3. Mark actually like Jason (and does not like Alex). So that could be 4 votes. They would need to swing Josh, which might be hard.

Votes against Paul (if Jess is HOH): Cody, Alex, Kevin, Mark

Votes against Jason (if Jess is HOH): Christmas, Raven, Matt, & Elena

Josh being the swing.

Alex, Jason & possibly Kevin might even be able to make a deal with Matt and Raven that if they keep Jason, the five of them will work together for the rest of the game until final 5. It's a long shot, but it's would be worth a try.

Agree 100%

Plus, you divide the larger group between Alex, Jason, and Kevin against Matt, Raven, and Xmas. Paul is really the only thing linking those two groups.

ETA: I love that the entire house hates Xmas btw. They all talk shite about how annoying she is literally the second she walks out of a room. But they try to act holier than thou because Cody and Jess are shady??

Paul and Jason were laughing about her in the storage room and Jason was like dude I hated her the second she opened her mouth and said there's the nerd, but I've had to be nice since I broke her arse

Seriously, Paul going out would break the house into three pretty equal sides and would be awesome to watch. It would be great for the game but I doubt CBS will see that and try to protect him again somehow.

I still think you have this backwards.

Jason will absolutely not vote out Alex over Paul, but Alex will vote Jason out imo.

She even said last night to Kevin and Jason point blank that none of them are winning anything without Paul.

She sucks. Plain and simple.

Kevin might vote out Alex over Paul though sonit might be irrelevant anyway.

I agree with this. Alex is terrible and is Paul's biggest groupie.

This is where we somewhat disagree. While she likes working with Paul more because she likes the way he plays the game, she definitely trusts Jason a lot more than Paul. Alex and Jason are tied to the hips, and she even said in one of her DR sessions that Jason was her ride or die even though she wants to work with Paul. Do get me wrong, she'll hate having to do it, but in the end I think she'll choose Jason over Paul.

ETA: There is just no chance in hell of Alex staying over Paul in any scenario. I doubt Jason does, but he has a better chance with Mark and Kevin than she does.

I would hope you're right, but I'm pretty sure she has become blinded by Paul's influence at this point. Going from being a huge target and outcast early has her feeling indebted to Paul imo.

She told Jason straight to his face the other day that they didn't have a final two but she told Jason that she told Paul she wanted to help Jason "as long as she could".

I think she sees Jason and Kevin as ride or dies so thinks she needs to be Paul's or she'll be odd man out down the road.

I think she is wrong and Jason just sees her himself and Kevin as all equal final threes together, but she is under Paul's spell.

Kevin always seems to talk like they are a final four, but has stronger ties to Jason and Paul than Alex. Not sure who he would go with between Jason and Paul but probably Jason given that Paul knows he took the 25k.

But he does want Paul as an ally as long as possible because he knows the game so well

Yeah, all possible scenario look pretty grim when it comes to evicting Paul. I guess all you can hope for is to put him up, and hope he freaks out and starts causing a lot of paranoia and chaos. This house is just that stupid.
