I loved the Chuck storyline. Not sure why the hate is here. It really set the tone for the transition from Jimmy to Saul. It’s great all the way through. Agreed things do pick up once it starts to tie in more with BB.

And honestly the pacing of them are at such polar opposite extremes it's almost not even fair to comapr ethem. BB is breakneck throughout almost the entirety fo the series. Constant action, conflict, drama, etc all throughout.

I disagree. I remember during my watch of BB how slow things moved, and I think I even posted about how it must have been excruciating waiting week to week as it aired.

Now, I am not arguing that BB is as slow as BCS obviously. BCS is very slow moving and calculated. But I didn't find BB to be fast=paced at all; not even close actually.

Also, there were some gripes with the final BCS season, but that was more to do with the Gene storyline. But I was pretty okay with how it ended. And when I say the final season of BB was a mess, I mean that it felt a lot more scrambled together than the previous seasons. And the "villains" felt cheaper and more cartoonish. But that's not to say I didn't love BB or the final season of it. I did. I just found that BCS had a higher quality. And that's a testament to the creators and how good they are. I do rank BB fairly high in quality.

The shows good and a very slow burn but the introduction of Lalo really steps the show up a few notches

That actor was phenomenal. I hated him so much. It would’ve been so easy for him to be over the top and cliche but he did the nice guy psychopath just right to where it was believable.

Howard was also great. The whole cast was superb.

Was skeptical after the first season but then it really ramps up.

Definitely required viewing if you’re a BB fan.
