Massive fail IMHO. Eddie Izzard is probably one of the smartest and most taleted comics in the biz. Hell, he does about eight minutes of one show in French, it was still hilarious, and the only French I know is "merci."

Did you catch about two minutes of his show on HBO one night, saw him in drag, said WTF, and flipped the channel. I almost did the same thing, but I kept watching, and it might have been one of the best stand-up performances I have ever seen.

Unfortunately, I've never seen him live. I love stand-up, but I don't go see it live. Had tickets to Carlin some years back in N.O., but he cancelled the show due to an emergency surgery or something...sucked. Best comic I have ever seen live: Chris Porter...yes, the tall "Willy Wonka" guy from a few seasons ago on Last Comic Standing. He was great, but I dig his style of humor and delivery.

Bob Newhart, on the same bill as Doc Severinson, in Vegas. Awesome show.

Just got out of Jerry Seinfeld a little while ago, and he is the best stand up I have ever seen. Dude is a pro and funny as hell.
