Bane's voice in Dark Knight Rises

How bad is the reaction going to be after this weekend?
I only ask because I know Bane sounded pretty unintelligible in that airplane hijack clip and while I heard WB had fixed it, the hosts of a show I'm listening to right now saw DKR last night and they are ripping his voice hard.
They said the movie was great but his voice was worse than Bale's in TDK.
Maybe Rave will hook me up with some subtitles for the IMAX.

After the MI3 prologue sequence, WB went back and fixed the voice for the most part because many complained about it. None of the blurbs on rottentomatoes mention Bane's voice being a problem (that's not to say the full reviews don't, but I'm not touching those).
I kind of wish they hadn't done this because I didn't get to see what it sounded like to begin with.

You couldn't hear anything he was saying the first time around. They had to do something or you were looking at Mumbles instead of Bane.
As long as I can hear it clear enough with the mask distortion I'll probably be okay with it.

Some of the reviews I've seen have praised his voice, saying it was menacing and adds to the character

so most people think this movie is going to blow?

Took my like five times to conclude that he says "I'm Gotham's reckoning," and I'm still not sure I'm right.

I mean Bane is from South America I think; at least it isn't a white guy trying to force himself to sound like some latino dude. it can just be written off as a byproduct of the mask.

All the reviews I've read says his voice was clear and easily understandable. They changed it a good bit from the prologue clip.

This could very well be true and I certainly hope so. Again, they didn't say the movie wasn't great. They were just making fun of the voice and said he was hard to understand.
I'm just predicting that will be the subject of most of the DKR bashing.

I'm assuming you're trolling since that was immediately understandable

I saw the prologue back in December and I only had trouble hearing him say one line because he said it too fast. But I got the gist of what he said by the way the guy he was speaking to reacted.

James Earl Jones should have did the voiceover
