Agree, but using a shitty cover of Stigmata over the Ministry original was criminal.

That song is iconic AF.

Agree.

But still was a fun, nostalgic type movie.

Wife wanted me to take her to see Dunkirk....movie was sold out, so we saw AB instead. I thanked her for the hot lesbo scene.

Titties, if I recall. Gonna assume they used a body double for Charlize.

taught by a very pretty young Deutche mädchen, who also taught Russian, and spoke English without an accent.

Sounds like she was an undercover, triple agent.

You know, we all had our suspicions about what her real career aspirations were- German citizen, like I said she spoke English without an accent, was fluent enough in Russian to teach that on the college level too. And just smoking hot and liked to wear blue-jean miniskirts. Her name was Dagmar something. Brunette, actually looked a good bit like the French chick in this movie.

The only problems with her being some type of spy were, well, advertising her linguistic skills (by teaching at the university), and the fact that LSU wasn't really on a par with East/West Berlin as an international place of intrigue.

I did occasionally wonder if she went near Exxon, though. THAT likely could have been a potential target for mischief.

Needless to say, we all got A's in the class. Not only was she hot, but also friendly and open with us. She spoke about politics some, and we had class "bier trinken" parties that she'd host and teach us more colloquial German phrases. We were all spellbound by her.
Just an awesome class, especially since the Wall fell right before the end of the semester. That class alone was worth the price of tuition that year...

but the ending was like "What?? That doesn't mesh with what actually happened in the movie???"

it does but it's very subtle

Yeah, do a rewatch. Everything does fit. Everything.

I was really impressed with the fight scenes. Bc they made her get her arse kicked and she had to use things to help plus her first shot was usually to take out a knee or to the nuts. I also liked how they got tired while fighting.
I thought the fights were very well done. Nobody dropped dead from a body gunshot wound instantly.
And everyone kept fighting despite pain and injuries, because the only other option was getting killed.
