Now that the asshats at Starz have finally put Ash vs. Evil Dead in the ground . . .

Maybe we can all enjoy the last few episodes . . .

Starting with Ash vs. some evil shite . . .

Loved the next-to-the-last episode. Spoilers . . .

Glad ruby is gone - they ran that story into the ground. Ash's daughter had some Ash moments and it looks like the gang will all be back for next week's finale.

I hate that it is coming to a close but it looks like they will go out with a bang.

And on a positive note . . . I get to cancel Starz. Screw em.

Hopefully they give it some type of closure and not leave it so open ended.

I'd read they filmed the season finale with the possibility of it being the last episode, so it should be a satisfactory enough conclusion...but they supposedly left the door open just a tiny bit, in case it got renewed for another season, whether on Starz or somewhere else...

Smart move. Hopefully Netflix will pick it up so the season can be binge watched.

This series finale actually looks quite epic. Glad they wrote the episode thinking the end was near.

Comes out Sunday. Amazing how my Starz monthly subscription (through Prime) renews on Saturday. Freakin’ a-holes.

Bruce's farewell to Ash

quote:

Good people, Evil Dead fans everywhere, I bid you a heartfelt farewell playing Ash - the character I took acting lessons with for 39 years.
I am hereby retiring from that portrayal. It’s time. I followed Ash from his formative years thru his mid-life crisis and decline. What a thrill! What a privilege!
We had a great resurgence with the help of Starz (kudos not jeers, folks). They made it possible for 15 more hours of Evil Dead-ness in your life - the equivalent of 10 more features!
Is Ash dead? Never. Ash is as much a concept as a person. Where there is evil in this world, there must be one to counter - man or woman, it matters not.
Thanks for watching.
Love,
Bruce

Just watched the last episode ever (and screw you Starz).

I loved the ending (but Season 4 would have been beyond awesome).

Anyway, long live Ash!

They gave it the original army of darkness ending with a mad max twist. Sucks it was the last one.

Yep. We have no idea how far it is in the future, or if Kelly, Pablo, or Brandy are even around anymore.

But . . . that is the end. At least we got 15 more hours (like 7 movies) of Ash being Ash than I ever thought we'd get after Army of Darkness.

We will always want more - and just the thought of Ash fighting the evil dead in some apocalyptic wasteland is just too freakin' awesome to think about. I guess we'll just have to create those episodes using our imagination.

Finally caught the final episode. Great ending, but it makes me hungry for more. Damn shame it had to end.

Yeah I didn't realize it watching the finale. Pretty cool that they went back and did it again.
