Putting my sweet 12 year old Boxer down tomorrow morning. Would this be a good movie to take the kids to see to help them (and me) deal with it? Kids are 24,22 and 14.

I haven’t seen it but people have generally really liked it.

It’d probably make y’all cry though. A lot.

Yeah I think it would be good. It has some tearjerker moments, but the dog has a long, great life. That's not even a spoiler, based on the way the movie is structured (the story is told in retrospect).

Haven't seen the movie, but the book is pretty emotional for anyone who has ever had a wife, kid, or dog.
