They'll be on whoever's side Waller wants them on. They are a government sanctioned team, so they'll probably will be trying to stop Slade.

i swear the "break for the olympics" thing was a completely cover up. when slade came to nola comic con he was just getting new script for the last few episodes. im thinking they are really behind on shooting, hence all the breaks.
anyway, GREAT episode. when slade put on the real deathstroke mask i lost it. did any catch the ship was called Amazo? cool little easter egg.
also interesting that Slade said he neither had kids nor a wife, when we know its not true since hes mentioned both while on the island. pretty interesting.
i got the feeling diggle joins the suicide squad to go after slade.

they have to be. who takes a 3 week break, comes back for two weeks, then has to take another break if they are on schedule? idk wtf is going on with that crew.

I noticed it in the episode when Oliver first got taken to the ship (they showed a quick shot of the back of the ship which had the name on it). I thought it was a cool throw out to the comic readers.

I remember him mentioning his son "Joe" that he mentioned on the island, but I didn't know he had also mentioned his wife.

Diggle being asked the go on a mission with the Squad has already been revealed by the writers. Now whether or not their mission is Slade hasn't been mentioned yet. Tonight's preview made it appear that way, but they could be throwing that in as misdirection.

They better not mess around and tick CW off and get the show canceled because they can't get the show shot on time. That's be a dang shame considering how good this show has become.

Wasn't Flash supposed to be in the last few episodes of the season and the CW decided they would rather just do a real pilot for his show? That probably forced rewrites in the continuity of the season which caused the delays.

If they are going to use her character in this show, they better make darn sure they pick the right actress to play her. I can't see that being an easy character to pull off on a tv show. But if they do find the right actress, then it as huge potential as an awesome character.

Yeah, but they might want to slow it down a little. It seems like they introduce a new character, or throw out a new name every episode. I'm afraid they'll eventually run out of stuff if they plan on the show going past 4 or 5 seasons.

i agree with this to a certain extent. but they do a great job of making all the character relevant and coming back. its rarely a one and done for most of them, as seen with a lot coming into the suicide squad.
i never thought about the rewrites happening due to the flash going straight to pilot. thats actually a very great point.

No doubt. They do an outstanding job with the DC characters. Looks like Huntress will be making a reappearance for a "Birds of Prey" episode after the Suicide Squad episode.
Also one of the showrunners stated that there will be some sort of "big annoucement" tied to episode 19 that they are trying to keep hush hush about. That should be interesting, espically considering they usually don't keep a lot of secrets (like letting us know about the Suicide Squad long before their episode).

the show is so incredibly well written. the way they plot out so much in advance and make everything come full circle continues to amaze me.
people laugh when I say this show could be better written than breaking bad. the thing I always harp on is the characters. In BB, Jesse has basically no story throughout the show and do several of the minor characters. Its all Walter.
In Arrow, they do an incredible job of making every character, no matter how minor, really matter to the story.
