No. I had to not record modern family so I could have psych and arrow recording at the same time.

Interesting that Tockman worked for Cord Industries. That's the second time I've noticed that Cord has been mentioned. I wonder if we'll ever meet Ted in this series.

That set up the rest of the season. I about lost it when she said Slade Wilson. Then their handshake. It just got real. I bet Oliver pissed his pants at that moment. Oliver and Sarah will now know what's up, but Felicity and Diggle don't have a clue.

I couldn't believe that Oliver told Laurel to go get drunk at Verdant (or whatever the club is called), and he'd pay for it. That was pretty damn cold. But it looks like that is what she needed.

Looks like I was wrong that she will get pushed off to the League or Merlyn (unless something crazy happens).

I have a strong feeling that Sara is going to die by the end of the season. I think Slade will make Oliver choose between Laurel and Sara the same way Ivo made him choose between Shado and Sara on the island. This time, however, Sara makes the choice for him - refusing to allow her eldest sister to become victim to Slade's scheme.

This puts Laurel on the path to take up the mantle as the Black Canary.

That is definitely plausable, and would be a good way to go with the story. I thought it was kind of weird that they seemed to have randomly thrown in the story of why Sarah looks after Sin. But maybe they are trying to humanize Sarah so that we get more emotionally invested in her in order to make her death more dramatic. It also wouldn't surprise me to see Slade kill Sin just to mess with Sarah.

That's a really solid theory man. I'm not a big fan of Laurel possibly getting ninja training and taking over as Black Canary but that setup would make it more palatable.

That last scene with Slade. Holy holy shite shite!

Any comic fans caught the DC 52 reference when Detective Lance said Delta Charlie 52 into his walkie talkie?

I'm ashamed to admit that I didn't catch it and a non-comic fan friend of mine texted me about it.

Keep in mind that she already has some self defense training and she's pretty good at it. In the first season she kicked a couple of peoples arse. With that said though, she'll need a ton more training before she is on Oliver's or Sarah's level.

His police radio call sign has been DC-52 for the whole run of the show, even when he was a detective in the 1st season.

Also, did anyone else catch the disease that Tockman had? It was MacGregor’s Syndrome, which Batman comic fans probably recognize.

And what can be added to the Slade intro. He went balls to the wall with that. "Damn right Ollie, I'm in your house chit-chatting with your mom. And btw I ain't dead, I know who you are, and I'm about to shite all over your life." Hopefully Slade will stick around for multiple seasons. He's one of my favorite DC character of all time.

He's a huge fan favorite and looks to be that for the tv fans too. Based on an interview with the writers I read a little while ago, I don't even think he's considered the big bad this season. He'll definitely be around next year I'm thinking.

It's hard to keep up with all of the references since they throw them out there constantly, and some of the are pretty obscure. I wonder if there is a website that has all of them listed per episode?

Like I said in an earlier post, I wonder if they will be bringing Ted Cord into this at some point. They've mentioned him or his company a couple of times (that I caught anyways).
