Yes, announced and dropped during DC Fandome on Saturday. I haven't had time to watch them yet.

I'm going to try to catch at least the first episode tonight. I loved the first two seasons, and the third was decent enough (although not as good as the first two imo). Hopefully this season is as good as the first two.

I caught the first two this weekend. They're coming out every Thursday going forward. It's just fine so far. Nothing crazy yet and I'm not sure what the Phantoms theme is about yet either.

So far we're following Superboy/Miss Martian as they take a trip to Mars for their wedding. Gar goes along with them. The conflict is related to the racial drama between the green/red vs minority white martians. The white martians being led by Miss Martian's brother that was a baddie last season.

Not loving the Martian saga. Really not loving that they talk over the credits now instead of letting us watch Wolf sleep.

I found the concept of the A'shen (White Martians) and the G'run (Green Martians) being the same species interesting.

I also found the fact that M'Gann had a White Mother and a Green Father new.

I don't like that they assigned the name Malefa'ak to anyone committing terrorist acts instead of it being J'onn J'onzz' brother.

I thought the same thing! I kind of enjoyed that weird little moment of zen at the end of the episodes.

Yeah, I'm already over the 100% Martian storyline. I'm so ready for some other characters on earth to get some storylines.

Needs more Legionnaires and fewer M’Artians. I’m not anti-religion or xenophobic, but I’ve seen enough Martian religion in this show to become an ordained priest.

And that Superman scene over the credits was pretty out there.

Great point! Also Beast Boy got his arc last season, can we focus on someone else please!

Nice that they're shifting the focus to Artemis and Cheshire and the entire Shadow thing.

Funny thing about The Shadow is...

"No one escapes from The Shadow."
"Everyone who escaped from The Shadow, raise their hands."
"One, two, three, four..."

Just finished watching season three in preparation for watching this season four (didn't even know there was a season three or four, to be honest).

Sort of shook my head at them pushing the gay agenda in this season, with the kiss between Violet and Harper, then the gay relationship between Aquaman(Kaldur) and Wyynde(sp?).

But did anyone catch some of those two Atlanteans' dialogue? Quite the gay double entendres...

-- When Wyynde is telling Kaldur that he is going on the surface world mission with him, he lists all his training and powers, and states "I can beat your arse anytime"

-- Then when they are on the surface doing recon, Wyynde is having trouble breathing, and states, "I'll never get used to sucking and blowing"

Oh shite I didn't realize this was out already. I don't have HBO Max so it looks like I have some downloading to do.

This week was a great episode.

The explanation of Mary Marvel shifting from superhero to magician was extremely well done.

The Zatara monologue was inspiring. Can't wait to see Nabu/Fate in the Black Adam film.

Now that the season has ended... So many great plots held back by nonsense and bad pacing. The Arion thing, Zatanna and the magic students, the Phantom Zone villains... great ideas. But they kept throwing extra crap in there for no reason. Razer's return from the GL series was okay, but the redesign of the character as an anime pretty boy was nauseating. Violet questioning everything about herself and the world is tiring. Rocket's family life, same thing. And La'gaan being in a polygamous marriage with two Atlanteans is the weirdest thing I've ever seen in a superhero series.

The one thing that the series continues to do well is the added cliffhanger button at the end. Be sure to watch the after-credits scene on the last episode.
