I've seen the ads constantly and don't even know why I should know who the host is. Never heard of him.

In no way am I saying who should win. In fact I agree with most of the winners. Just find it interesting.
Everybody watching with me hated the opening monologue. Probably the worst ever.
The Golden Globes used to be fun, they would drink a bit too much and then hilarity would ensue.

The host is pretty bad. You can be funny making fun of how racist the Hollywood Foreign press is, but he is not that.
