Anyone watch Z Nation? (SPOILERS, probably)

Just finished the 1st season. At first I didn't think I'd make it past the first episode because the acting was so terrible. I soldiered through it and I think I was mistaken in looking at from such a critical standpoint. I love the direction that it took and it's a breath of fresh air compared to TWD. It doesn't take itself too seriously, but at the same time the zombies still pose an actual threat to the characters.

I'm not sure that I've ever seen the actor who plays Murphy in anything else, but I love his character. He's become pretty fun to watch and anytime he's in the scene I find myself laughing. The episode where the gang is at the country club and he's outside hitting golf balls on the range while everyone is fighting for their lives in the clubhouse had me rolling.

Any other thoughts?
