why I wanted more of The Acolyte. The High Republic era has so much potential if they just made stuff based off some of the High Republic novels like Light of the Jedi.

As someone who didn't see Rogue One before watching Andor, I thought Rogue One was a good movie. I quit watching Star Wars movies after seeing The Phantom Menace in the theater and watching Attack of the Clones on cable. Had never watched any of the newer movies since those two. Watched Rogue One after Disney suggested it because I'd watched Andor. It wasn't as good as the original trilogy, but I enjoyed it, and knew what was going on because I'd watched Andor.

ETA: it's a shame these threads all end up being arguments between folks that just seem to hate.

Finally got around to the second season. There were certainly some issues but obviously high quality TV.

The first episode was great, then it sucked for a couple episodes, then got good again once we got past the wedding nonsense and the rebel infighting about who was getting the stolen ship. Big WTF why those two things got a ton of screen time.
