Yeah, I'm sure hundreds of decent singers don't make it through for no real reason exceptthat the producers only have so much time to get things down to a manageable number.
I know some people only watch for the trainwrecks but I wouldn't mind if they ditched that altogether and only showed the best auditions. I'm sick of the idiots with costumes and a schtick and the terrible voice looking for their 15 minutes.
