For a show bike , Jr. Killed it. You can't say occ hasn't built 20 choppers as good as jjs. Looks like a production bike to me.
That's the thing, these bikes were built to impress, not to be practical. I'll always respect JJ, but most of OCC's production is on practical bikes, the one's for the show are just that, for show. He knows that, and I think he was just playing up the show (unless he has a chip on his shoulder).
Kind of like custom body shops like pimp my ride. They beef up a vehicle to show what they can do, but most of their customers just get a audio system without huge modifications like in the show cars.

I voted for Jr simply because of the talent that went into the design of the bike. JJ's bike really didn't have much originality into it. Seemed like something that I have seen before. Can't really say much for Sr's bike/whatever it was.

Paul Sr.s machine was a extremely cool toy, but not a motorcycle. Due to the way it steers, I doubt you could even get up to a reasonable speed and keep it under control. Cool, but fail.
Jesse James' bike was a joke. Jesse James is a joke. He came in spouting a lot of "I'm a badass, I went to study with a blacksmith, I will build every single piece myself by hand". So he built a frame, a tank, fender, and a front end. In the process of doing so, he got overwhelmed and had to call in help from his buddies. He said he was going to build a "evil looking badass bike that satan would ride". What he produced was a ho-hum bike that would disappear in a pack of other custom choppers, isn't practical to ride, would probably put you in a ditch and kill you if yuo tried to corner at speed, and you can't even fricking see the road without peeping around the bars. Polished stainless and a coat of red paint on a standard chopper look. <yawn>
Paul Jr.s' bike had just as much custom from scratch fabrication as Jesse's, captured perfectly the look and theme he was shooting for, and looks like no other bike on the road. The detail, creativity, and talent it took to build that bike is head and shoulders above Jesse's bike, and beats Sr.s machine simply because it's a motorcycle not a snowmobile.
More than anything, these two epidsodes showed the character of the competitors.
Paul Sr. is a screwed up dude. He's competitive, and wants to win, but knew he had no shot at this so chose not to compete. He's also very immature and has no clue how much his fricked up antics truly hurt his sons. He wants to rebuild a relationship with them, but keeps doing things that puch them farther away.
Paul Jr. is very hurt by all the shite with his father. I think he really is better off on his own. I also think that he took the high road on this, and most of the stuff in the show. Sure, his youtube video pandering to the voters was lame, but I think he is sincere.
Jesse is a washed-up douche who's trying to salvage his carreer. He knows his public image is tarnished, and he's viewed as the fricktard he is. He boasts a lot, but can't really back it up, and he needs a good arse whipping. Fading in to obscurity will be the karma that he deserves.

Senior built a fricking snowmobile. Every time they showed it, I just laughed my arse off
I wish that little bitch Jason would have DIAF from a malfunctioning flamethrower

Agreed. Sr. firing Jr. was what will eventually bring OCC to it's knees, but bringing in Jason as lead designer to replace him is putting it on the fast track. Every time that fricker talks, I want to kick him in his grill.

Oh, and the highlight of the whole show was Bush playing. Of all the 90s bands to go on a hiatus, it sucks it was them.

You obviously have not heard their new single, "A Sound of Winter." It's pretty good.

Heard it last night for the first time when they played it live. It was good.

I've probably seen 5 episodes of this show since it's been on the air.
Caught this "drama" playing out last night while flipping through the channels. I thought Paul Jrs bike looked silly. Sure it has amazing work and detail put in to it but it looked awkward.

jesse james was overly prickish last night. almost like the show was trying to make him into the "bad guy". but i thought his bike was the best....well the better of the 2. not sure what to classify SR's thing

Jr. builds a way better looking bikes than Sr. does. Jr. was obviously the artistic talent behind all of OCC's great bikes.

JJ was a little bitch. After JR was announced as the winner, he talked to SR for a second and then disappeared. With all the shite talking he did the last couple weeks, you think he would have said congrats or something. At least SR stood on stage the whole time.
I think Jr's bike was the better bike as far as creativity goes.
JJ's was the one that would be ride-able for at least a small period of time. He got overwhelmed really quickly and had people come in to help finish it. I liked how he said he built the whole thing without giving any credit to Austin speed shop. I don't remember him making the wheels, engine or transmission (I mean, if you say you made everything on it, that would fall into it) and he didn't paint it.
Yeah, Jr didn't do most of the sheet metal work on the bike, but he never said that he was an expert on that front. That's why he had his team with him the whole time. Didn't leave any one out.
It was also funny how JJ said his bike would make it the furthest on a tank of gas. Sr's contraption would have left them all in the dirt as far as distance is concerned. Although I wouldn't think it would be very comfortable.

I can't believe Discovery Channel proclaiming that they winner of this competition would be the "Best Builder in the World"? Really? I have seen many episode of Biker Buildoff on Discovery and I can say that most bikes on this show are as good, if not better that what these guy's produced.

Senior seems to not have any part of building the bikes anymore. I usually love junior's bikes, but this one wasn't my favorite. It looked like a moon shine still Or something. Junior's cadillac bike was
though!

Jesse is the only one that actually built a bike.
Sr knew he was coming in last no matter what because he is not popular so he had fun with it.
Jr was going to win no matter what. If Jr had built the track vehicle he would have won.
