Not a Chucky fan. He and the Leprechaun are more comedic than horrific.

Halloween 4 is my personal favorite, and super-underrated IMO.
I love how the Halloween atmosphere is more in the fore-front.
ditto. the intro is my favorite of any horror movie. just a bunch of still shots of a gloomy midwestern farm is brillianty creepy. and the redneck militia was awesome to see as a kid.

Leprechaun in the Hood is seriously one of the most laugh out loud funny movies I've ever seen.

Yes for the Chucky movie. Cult of Chucky, the newest one, premiers tonight at 10 eastern(9 central).
All I could find about the new jeepers creepers movie is that AMC theaters is showing it.

this years line up is an absolute joke!! every year it seems they are cutting it more and more, i love the walking dead but a full week marathon when they could have shown movies was a terrible idea, i would not be surprised if fear fest and all of the great horror movies will be gone in the next few years.

I don't want to keep beating a dead horse but I had forgotten how bad the second rob zombie halloween movie was.

Check out Halloween 25 years of terror
It's a doc that came out a while back about the Halloween franchise. I watch it every year. It's a must watch
Google it as I think it's free on you tube

AMC really has gone downhill. Not too long ago I would DVR weeks worth of obscure horror movies from the 70s and 80s and, as a kid, would stay up as late as I could just to watch whatever was on that night. Slasher films, schlock, B films, old 30s, 40s, and 50s horror. I was too young to remember Monster Vision when it was on TNT but every Halloween was kind of like I imagine that being with AMC, plus the Halloween specials on ABC, Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, MTV, etc.
For a week or two leading up to Halloween, it was like the same buzz you got before Christmas. I remember the years Halloween was on a school day and the Ghostbusters theme and Monstermash would be playing on the car radio stations. There were Halloween parties at school (not Fall Festivals) and when you got home you immediately began getting ready for that night. You'd watch the Home Improvement halloween special or The Great Pumpkin while you waited for mom or dad to get home and then by 5 or 6 you were out the door with multiple pillow cases at the ready to meet up with your friends. Mom or Dad would walk with the other parents for about an hour or so before going back home to take their shift handing out candy and leave the kids to wander the neighborhood for hours. And EVERYONE's house was decorated to with at least 3 different houses that went all out with intricate Haunted House walk-throughs in their garage or backyard.
I hope I'm just getting older and Halloween isn't actually getting as dull and boring as it seems...

Nothing is as exciting as it was when we were kids.
My kids are having a Halloween party at school and are allowed to wear their costumes on Friday. I will not let them wander the neighborhood by themselves
, but we will spend awhile Trick or Treating. We get crowds of kids that TrT over here, but I do think overall there are less people participating. Unfortunately it's probably a safety thing. But we still have a lot of fun on Halloween.
