Tell me about an episode of recent Republican corruption on par with Watergate, much less the Hunter Biden laptop or Hillary Clinton orchestrating the Russian collusion hoax, just to name two.

I'm a sucker for any movie about journalism. All The President's Men is one of the ones that had a huge impact on journalism students. Others that were influential to students like me in that decade, are:
Absence of Malice (1981)
Killing Fields (1984)
Network (1976)
The Year of Living Dangerously (1982)
Under Fire (1983)
Some of my more recent favorites are:
Spotlight (2015)-yes, I'm a protestant.
Zodiac (2007)
Nightcrawler (2014)
The Girl With the Drogon Tattoo trilogy
I've never seen The Post or The Paper.
