Can we have a full season of Friday the 13th? My guess is it spins off in another direction after a few episodes

They aren’t reacting realistically to this chick being nearly killed by a serial killer

They have to be more historically aware with these period shows. Somebody used the term "hooking up" which was not a thing in 1984. Same as on the Deuce the other night when somebody said "making bank" which doesn't work for being set in 1985.

Just started my 4th read-through of Dr Sleep. One of my favorite King books.

I’m going to check this episode out tomorrow.

I’m having trouble caring enough to keep reading. I’ll either hard push though this weekend or get the audible and listen while I do barn work.

Excited for the movie, though

this was by far a better season premier than most on AHS

DVR'd it and watched it this afternoon. In my opinion it's a very solid start. I love the slasher sub-genre of horror but I find myself wondering how they are going to stretch this premise for a full season, especially with such a small cast as this.

Other slasher anthology shows like Harper's Island had a large ensemble getting killed off on an island, thus they could hide the fact that there was a psychopath among them for several episodes.

Solid start, as I said before, but I'm wondering how they can keep this going for 8-10 episodes.

Love it so far. Incredible score. Some of the shots even look old style and grainy. Cheesy in all the right places. Great 80s music.

Finally a season of AHS without agendas and politics. Just dumb fun 80s slasher. Excited for the season.

Keep reading, Aspy, it’s a good book. I am super excited about the movie.

Loved the first episode of AHS this season. I was in two episodes of the worst season ever, so I am glad to see something cool and reminiscent of my childhood horror movies.

I think it’s a bit early to make the claim that this season won’t have any political agendas. Remember who the creator is.

Yeah, as many people as they slashed up in one episode, could be quite a body county by the end.

By episode 4 they’ll be in outer space.
